What $100,000 Would Mean To You...

by: Jim Pearce, Director of Research

The legendary songwriter Paul Simon said it best:

"The thought that life could be better
Is woven indelibly
Into our hearts and our brains"
— Train in the Distance

Our readers seem to agree. They want their lives to be better. Filled with all sorts of abundance...

  • An abundance of time to spend with family and friends...
  • An abundance of good health to enjoy life to the fullest...
  • An abundance of opportunity to turn dreams into reality...
  • And, of course, an abundance of wealth to help them achieve all of the above.

That last one is why so many people say they plan to attend our Radical Wealth Summit on Tuesday, March 27.

And while having access to more money doesn't guarantee a better life, I think we can all agree it certainly can help.

So, one of the first things we did after you signed up for the summit was to ask you one simple question: "How would you use $100,000 to change your life?"

I want to thank everyone who shared their replies with us.

Brenton and I have read through all of them and I have to say we were blown away by your comments.

We were humbled and inspired by Patrick who said he would get a non-profit started to help others as they journey this life.

And then there's Ted who said this new-found wealth would mean he could finally go into business for himself.

While Shelly said she'd use the money to fund her grandkid's college educations.

I’ve included more of the replies we received below so you can see all the different ways people say $100,000 would change their lives.

“It would give me peace of mind and enjoyment for my retirement” — Geunter
“I would be able to fulfill my dream of making a difference.” — Jerry
“Freedom to travel anywhere in the world with my girlfriend.” — Ben
“My 4 kids will graduate from University without the financial stress.” — Moe
“I would donate most of it to my favorite charities for children’s issues” — Jeff
“I would have no more worries.” — Bill
“Travel in retirement and relocate!” — Stewart
“I would reinvest and buy a new house with a garden and work what I like..”  Blaz
