Below that, you’ll find my recommendations for the first steps you should take to get started. All told, completing these steps won’t take very long, but they are the most important things you can do today.
Step 1: Log into the Personal Finance website and start exploring.
You will be receiving an email shortly (if you have not already) with information about how to log in to the Personal Finance member website.
If you subscribe to other Investing Daily publications, you can use your existing password to log in to the Personal Finance website here. If you are new to Investing Daily, this email will give you further login instructions.
Once you are logged in, take a few minutes to explore the website. Among the benefits you’ll find there:
- The Personal Finance Portfolios, containing all of our current recommendations. There are 5 in total: Growth, Income, Funds, Maximum Income, and Options
- Content Archive, where you can access all our most recent articles and trade alerts
- Issue Archive, housing PDFs of every issue we’ve put out since March 2000
- Special Reports Archive, where you can find reports that were included with your subscription, plus additional reports we’ve recently created
Step 2: Make sure you’re set up to receive our emails.
I’m sure you don’t want to miss any of the content you’re now signed up to receive as a Personal Finance subscriber. But sometimes, certain email providers will mistakenly mark our emails as “spam.”

Step 3: Get started!
Once you’ve had a chance to review the materials above, you’re ready to get started! The best thing you can do is to dive right in and start making your first trades and following our recommendations.
You might still feel a little cautious… and that’s OK! But you can’t start raking in the gains until you get in the game. And the more you take advantage of our advice, the more you’ll realize that there is simply no better way to invest.
