And with President Trump promising to stir things up, 2017 will be a critical year to have a team of investment advisors on your side to help you navigate all the unicorns and alligators.

Massive amounts of government pork will likely get moved from one pocket to the other, and your portfolio needs to adapt accordingly.

We’re setting up camp across the river in historic and charming Old Town Alexandria. Come enjoy the wonderful restaurants, shopping and walking streets while being just a stone’s throw away from all the monuments and cherry blossoms.

Join me, Jim Fink, Robert Rapier, Ari Charney and the rest of our analyst team to discuss the rapidly-changing issues that will shape the financial landscape in the years to come.

What is a breakout session? The analysts will each be assigned to one of four rooms. As an attendee, you will be assigned to one of four small groups. Your group will rotate from room to room as the Summit progresses, visiting with the analysts in an intimate setting. This is your best opportunity to ask questions about the analysts’ specialties and give input regarding their newsletters’ direction.

I wanted to thank you for putting on a terrific program. I enjoyed it very, much and more -- it was very worthwhile! The programs, breakfast, lunch and the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the editors.

Hotel & Meeting Venue

Old Town Alexandria

Welcome to the Hilton Old Town in Alexandria, Virginia!

Across the Potomac River from Washington, DC – and just a few miles up the road from Mount Vernon, George Washington’s final home – the Hilton Old Town sits at the base of the Masonic Temple in the heart of Alexandria.

The hotel is situated on the west end of historic King Street, also known as the “golden mile” of antique shops, art studios, and outstanding restaurants. Directly across the street is a Washington
DC subway station that can get you to the White House, Lincoln Memorial, and Washington Monument in less than twenty minutes.

Some of the amenities you’ll enjoy …

  • Sightseeing – Directly across the Potomac River lays the National Mall which is surrounded by The Capitol, The White House, and Lincoln, Washington and Jefferson Memorials along with several world famous museums including the Smithsonian Natural History Museum, Air & Space Museum, and Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden to name only a few.

  • Shopping – Immediately outside our doors and within one mile of the hotel are dozens of antique shops, clothing stores and the Torpedo Factory Art Center.  A free trolley bus runs up and down King Street if you prefer not to walk.

  • Restaurants – Just outside the doors of our hotel within easy walking distance are a number of outstanding restaurants. Although our regional specialty is seafood, you can also find excellent ethnic food along with traditional American fare.

  • Pubs – Our nation’s founding fathers were known to throw down an ale or two at one of their favorite pubs just a short walk from our hotel, historic Gadsbys Tavern founded in 1770. If that’s too stodgy for you there are a number of other local watering holes that offer live music and great atmosphere.

  • Spa - only one block down the street from our hotel is Lorien Spa, which features five treatment rooms, his and her locker rooms with steam rooms, bathrooms and showers, and amazing spa treatments from heavenly facials to relaxing massages.

  • Business – Stay connected with the office at the hotel’s Connectivity Station, which is furnished with state-of-the-art technology including computers, printers, photocopiers and wireless internet access.

  • Hiking/biking – The 17 mile long Mount Vernon Trail runs through Alexandria along the west bank of the Potomac River, providing glorious panoramic views for walkers, joggers and bikers of downtown Washington DC.

  • Theater – Washington DC is home to several excellent theaters including Ford’s Theater, Arena Stage, and the world famous Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts

  • Baseball - Take a scenic boat ride across the river to catch the Washington Nationals play the Florida Marlins on April 5th or 6th (Game times TBD)

  • And more - Our Concierge would be pleased to suggest and help arrange activities on site and off.
